ABOUT ME

I am a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Vanderbilt University, where I lead research into nanotechnology and nanoscale optical phenomena. My work bridges fundamental science and real-world impact — from developing tools that detect and remove nanoplastics from water, to uncovering the invisible plastic contamination surrounding us every day. My book, Unmasking Nanoplastics, brings this science to general readers for the first time.
